Staff Manager
Designed for a retail environment, this DB allows the user to assign standardized shifts to staff members, track estimated staff hours on a weekly or monthly basis, schedule special events, and print out various versions of the different schedules (including a three column, newsletter style catalog of scheduled events, their descriptions, their costs, and their dates).

Staff Manager - Month View
Month View
A fully active Month view with the ability to adjust all information, and the option of highlighting a given staff member.

Week View
Also fully active, note the Breakdown displays: listing the number of shifts and total scheduled hours for the viewed week, highlighting Laura B's 'Reg Hours' in red to denote that she is an OT risk.

Staff Detail
Another segment of the DB lists all the active Staff. It tracks their contact information and can be used to view their assigned shifts.

Event List
This segment of the DB stores information about Events the store can host - in this case Classes.

Event Catalog
Once Events have been scheduled on the Calendar, an Event Catalog that accurately lists names, descriptions, and dates & times - ready to print, with no proof reading required - can be produced at the touch of a button.
Other elements not demonstrated here include: a Calendar Day View where Staff special requests can be entered, a standard Shifts table, a centralized Reports pallette, and a Mailing List add-on for tracking the store's customers and easily exporting mail-house ready CSVs when posting newletters, etc.

Seemingly simple in purpose - it's just a Calendar right? - it is in fact the most functionally complex DB I've ever built. For all you DB wonks - the Calendar table alone has over 50 portals, 150 relationships, and 160 calculation fields engineering the single-record presentation, five week variable Month layout and other views (ugh - it pains me just to recall the layout formatting).
